Description

HAW-H05 is a hard rubber material based on isoprene rubber (IR) that is vulcanized in an autoclave. The layer thickness of the rubber sheet may range between 3 and 6 mm.

Range of application

  • Protective lining for structural components made of steel that are subjected to chemical exposure
  • Inlet and outlet boxes and cells for chlorine-alkali electrolysis, processing tanks as well as supply and storage tanks, pipelines and various other apparatus components utilized in chemical process plants and power stations.

Chemical resistance

Resistant

  • alkaline and acid fluids with the exceptions of oxidizing fluids
  • aliphatic hydrocarbons (with exceptions) and alcohol

Limited resistance

  • aromatics
