HAW designs, builds, lines and cures process equipment on one 120,000 m² site in Lower Saxony. For larger and heavier equipment, the Jasmino Group's heavy works roll plate to 95 mm and build single pieces up to 300 t.

The Bockenem works
HAW has worked from Werkstraße 30–33 in Bockenem since the works was founded there in 1899. Industrial rubber lining was patented here in 1920. The site now covers 120,000 m².
Steel fabrication, machining, lining, vulcanisation and testing sit on the same site. A vessel built in our steel shop goes to the lining shop and into the autoclave without leaving the works, and its welds, surface access and geometry are set for the lining from the first drawing.
Machining
Parts up to 15 t are machined in house before lining. Turning up to Ø4,500 × 800 mm, or Ø3,790 × 8,000 mm for long parts. CNC milling 5,600 × 3,100 mm in a single clamping. Planing 2,000 mm wide and up to 16,000 mm long.
Covered lining shop
30,000 m² of covered shop floor for rubber, plastic and resin linings, the largest in the world. Equipment brought to Bockenem is lined under climate-controlled conditions.
Calender line
Rubber sheet for our linings is calendered on the works. Every compound batch is tracked from raw material to the finished lining.
Vulcanising autoclave
Europe's largest vulcanising autoclave, 6 m in diameter and 20 m long. Lined equipment is cured at controlled temperature and pressure, up to 150 °C.
Rail-connected tank wagon centre
Europe's largest rail-connected tank wagon lining centre. Wagons arrive on our own rail connection.
Quality laboratory
Spark testing, adhesion pull testing, ultrasonic thickness measurement and compound analysis, on site and during production.

HAW Linings GmbH has been part of the Jasmino Group since 2024, alongside its sister company GBT Bücolit in Marl. The group has a presence in India, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and the Benelux. Equipment larger or heavier than Bockenem builds is fabricated at the group's heavy works.
