A rubber lining is only as good as the compound under it
Off-the-shelf compounds work for off-the-shelf services. Real industrial processes (variable temperatures, mixed acids, abrasive slurries, hydrocarbon contamination) need compounds developed for them.
Between HAW's lining record since 1899 and the Group's formulation library, there is usually a compound already on file. When there is not, the Group's compounding team develops one.
